Getting Married!

Well, I am getting married (again). The wedding date is set for August 1st 2009. I am very excited about it. I have found someone who treats me way better than I deserve, gives and gives without expecting anything in return and is just amazing. The cool thing about Natalie is that everything she does for me makes me want to give back to her ten fold. Yes she is 14 years younger than me but for whatever reason that has not been an issue at all. I guess maybe because mentally I am about 22!  Anyway, we have been dating since last April. It has been great. We share a lot of the same interest but at the same time have enough differences to keep it fun. We are both willing to "give in" to each other and I have not had that before.

As far as the "getting married (again)" part - I obviously never thought I would be saying that in my life but such is my life I guess. I know looking back that when I got married the first time I was more in love with the idea of being married than the person I was marrying. I was 22 at the time and thought it was what was next in my life to do. Kind of like I was following some sort of color by numbers or something. The thing is though, it's not like I came to that realization while married and decided to get divorced. There were other reasons for the divorce. I won't get into them here. It is done and overwith now and I have no regrets other than what my kids had to endure. But frankly there life is much better now than when I was married to there mom.

The kids love Natalie and she loves them. They get along great and have developed a good friendship while still respecting Natalie as an adult in their lives and respecting her as a future "step mom" and so on. Sometimes I think they are more excited about the wedding than we are! I love that.One of my biggest fears was not being able to find someone that the kids would love. But that fear has been put to rest.

Anyway, just thought I would share a little bit about this new chapter in my life. More to come............................

Psychobilly

Call me clueless or living under a rock or whatever but I just found a new style of punk called Psychobilly. Basically a combination of Punk and Rockabilly. Whatever it's called I am really enjoying it. The band I stumbled across is called Tiger Army. When I was getting my latest tattoo last week the artist was playing them in the background. I was enjoying the music so much I didn't even notice the pain when he was driving the ink into my skin.



If you are fans of Social Distortion or Rancid and so on, I truly think you will enjoy these guys! Anyway, just thought I would share that. Gotta dig the ink these dudes have as well!!!!!

Well I am off to see what else I can find in this "genre" (I hate that word for some reason)!

Here we go again.........

I am trying this once again. My last blog was "ruined" by someone and I decided to end it. It's out there somewhere as I can't remember my log in or password or what email address I uses and so on. Whatever. I don't have a single purpose for this other than I enjoy "writing" out my thoughts and on occasion about whatever I want. Again, we will see how it goes and fortunately that person has somewhat moved on. It pissed me off because it was blatant lies and an attempt at God knows what. Anyway, whatever......................................
